PURPOSE OF GLOBAL PRAYER WAVE:
 As
many of us are aware, there is a very large oil spill that
has occurred from underwater oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico
into the Ocean. This oil is not only pouring into the Ocean
but now reaching land on the US coast lines, moving into very
pristine and protected wetlands, protected coastal areas and
into areas where there is a large amount of animal life. This
oil has begun to move from the Gulf of Mexico up the East
Coast of the USA and also into our rivers. Oil depletes oxygen
from the water and a large amount of oil in an area can cause
an ocean ‘Dead Zone’ where there is not enough
oxygen to sustain life.
It is now clear that a
much larger amount of oil, than first thought, is pouring
into the Gulf of Mexico. This is an environmental situation
that is calling forth A VERY LARGE and IMMEDIATE response
to avoid any more major environmental damage. This situation
is offering us an opportunity to unite as a global community,
harness the power of our collective focus, prayer, love and
intentions and call forth the new sustainable ways of living
in harmony with ourselves and our world.
The oceans are precious,
water is precious and essential to life on this planet. The
animal life in the water and on the land in these areas are
precious. We are interconnected with our Ocean, with the Water,
with the creatures that live in and near the Ocean as part
of a larger web of Life, this situation has the potential
to affect that web of Life in a very serious way.
Through taking a moment
of silence, sending our prayers, intentions, visualizations
and love, together we can assist and support the sustainable
solutions, the clean up of all the oil, the shift in the policies
and actions that have caused this and the protection and healing
of the water and all of life affected by this situation.
This Global Prayer Wave
has been set up to help create a global presence and focus
for this situation. Encouraging the creation of global prayer
and intention circles that focus daily on creating sustainable
solutions and healing; for the Oil Spill, for the Ocean, for
Mother Earth and for all of life affected.
Our focus is to ultimately
support the awakening of Humanity to our interconnectedness
with this precious Living Planet. To help catalyze the new
pathways of living in Harmony with Self, each other and our
World, and to harness this awareness to affect Global Change.
